Brief History the school
Mount Carmel School Koilamati was established on March 3, 1997 Under the management of assumption Parish of the Diphu Diocese.
In the beginning school was situated on the Sarkanhsam Teron Village with just 15 children. On February 5, 2010 the Koilamati Mission was entrusted to the OCD fathers of South Kerala Province. So the Christ the King School also came under the management of these fathers As a result of this, the school name also changed into the Mount Carmel school. As the number of students increased the school Authority was forced to construct a new permanent building instead of bamboo shed. So as a result of this on October 7, 2010 Rt. Rev. John Moolachira, then Bishop of Diphu laid the foundation stone for the construction of the new building for the Mount Carmel School Koilamati.
